TRI AVATAR is a next-generation chorus pedal with a total of four signal paths: three systems (three phases) of chorus sounds and a dry signal. When used in stereo, the first phase is assigned to the L side, the second phase to the L+R side, and the third phase to the R side.

When used in mono, all three phases are mixed. By mixing and outputting three separate chorus sounds, it creates a chorus sound with breadth and depth that goes beyond the realm of typical stereo choruses. Conventional choruses have had several issues, such as pitch misalignment, a blurred sound image in the low range, and noise generated at the timing of the oscillations.
