Features

The upgraded Microtubes B7K Ultra v2 with Aux In has even more features and sonic possibilities than v1: (1) Cabinet simulation impulse response (IR) can be loaded. (2) Connect to PC/Mac via Micro-USB B port and load virtual cabinets using Darkglass Suite software. (3) Equipped with 3.5mm headphone output with built-in cabinet simulation. (4) Equipped with balanced XLR output with cabinet simulation ON/OFF. (5) Newly equipped with Aux input that can input external sound source.

Master
Adjusts the overall volume of the Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 with Aux-In. Ideal for fine-tuning the output in clean mode. Can also be used as a level control for the DI out.

Blend
Controls the mix balance between the clean signal and the overdriven signal. Regardless of the setting of the Level knob, which controls the volume of the overdriven signal, the clean signal is at unity gain, and the Blend knob allows fine adjustment of the mix balance.

Level
Sets the volume of the overdriven signal.

Drive
Sets the amount of saturation of the overdriven signal.

Attack Switch
Determines the amount of high frequencies that are saturated. The "Boost" setting emphasizes presence and produces a clearer sound. The "Flat" position has no effect on the tone. The "Cut" position reduces the amount of high frequencies, producing a warmer sound.

Grunt Switch
Sets the intensity of your low frequencies by selecting from three different bass boost levels before the clipping stage.

Bass
Boost/cut up to ±12dB around 100Hz.

Lo Mids
Boosts/cuts up to ±12dB around the selected frequency: 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz.

Hi Mids
Boosts/cuts up to ±12dB around the selected center frequency of 750Hz, 1.5kHz, or 3kHz.

Treble
Boost/cut up to ±12dB around 5kHz.

Direct Output
The balanced XLR output is useful for connecting to a microphone preamplifier, PA system, etc.

Ground lift
Disconnects the ground on the Direct Out to break any ground loops. Set the switch to whichever position produces less noise. This switch setting does not affect the 1/4" out.

CabSim
Toggles the cabinet simulation on the Direct Output. This switch allows you to completely bypass all digital circuitry and output a signal if desired.

Headphones
The 3.5mm stereo jack headphone amplifier can be driven with a minimum load of 16 ohms. The level can be adjusted with the master volume control.

USB
Connect it to your PC/Mac via the Micro-USB B connector to load cabinet simulation impulse responses (IR) to the pedal and control various settings.

WARNING
The Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 with Aux-In consumes 120mA. Please use a regulated DC9V center negative adapter. Due to environmental considerations, it does not support 9V battery (006P) operation. Please note that using an unregulated power supply or supplying a voltage of 9VDC or more may cause noise or damage to the unit, and will void the warranty.
