Features
Delay Doppelgänger
DIG has put two of the most popular rack-type delays from the 1980s and the modern Strymon delays into a compact Strymon chassis. These two delays are easy to enjoy, from complex, synced echoes to ambient, reverb-like delays.
Back to the Future
The rackmount delays of the '80s ushered in a new era of audio effects. Innovative electronic design delivered a sound never heard before, with clarity that was both distinctive and intriguing. Over 30 years later, those sounds continue to inspire players without losing their character. We've studied that digital delay technology extensively and recreated their unique processing here. DIG features three delay voicings:
- adm mode: Early 80's adaptive delta modulation
- 12bit mode: Mid-80s 12bit pulse code modulation
- 24/96 Mode: Modern High Resolution 24/96
By incorporating two of each of these three different delay voicings, the DIG is a dual delay line with infinite sound combinations.
- Each type is equipped with two completely independent delays
- Five knobs for full control of two delays: Time, Time 2, Mix, Mix 2, Repeats
- 1 modern, 2 x classic delay voicings: 24/96, adm, 12 bit
- 5 types of subdivisions: Triplet eighth, eighth, golden ratio, dotted eighth, dotted quarter
- 3 modulation settings: Off, Light, Deep
- 5 hidden controls: Delay 1 Subdivision, Sync/Free Mode, Filter, Config, Delay 2 Repeats
- Free Mode: Disables sync and subdivision (delay time division settings).
- Delay time with press and hold function: 20ms - 1.6s (Delay 1 subdivision setting maximum: 40ms - 3.2s)
