商品の説明

JHS's "ALPINE" is an ambient reverb that can be described as cool and transparent. The switch on the right turns the preset on and off, and you can create ambient sounds of different depths using the SHIFT knob.
There is an effect loop out so you can also create your own ambient mix.

Purchased new from a previous domestic authorized dealer several years ago.
It works well and provides a beautiful ambient feel.
There are some scratches overall.
Instructions (English) are included.

Features

Among the many reverb pedals in the world, Alpine is a very easy-to-use, multi-functional reverb pedal that can be used in any situation. It is easy to use, and even if you don't have any special knowledge, you can get a powerful and wonderful reverb sound just by turning the knob.

Switches & Knobs

The Alpine has two footswitches. The left footswitch turns the pedal on and off, and the right footswitch is the Shift switch. Start by creating your sound with the Reverb control. The Reverb control is a wet/dry Mix knob that sets the balance and feel of the dry sound and effect level. The Highs control acts like a high-pass filter, allowing you to make the overall sound darker or brighter. The setting of this control is an important part of the reverb effect, such as how the reverb sound decays and how it responds. For example, if the high-frequency reverberation is too strong, you can adjust it to a simpler, more subtle feel by turning down the Highs knob. Conversely, you can make a simple room/slap sound more dramatic by brightening it. The Depth control adjusts the depth of the reverb sound. Imagine changing the depth of a canyon (the width of the space) as you play your guitar by controlling this knob. The Length control adjusts the tail/decay time of the entire reverb. A low setting will create a bathroom-like reverberation, while a high setting will create an endless reverberation sound that exceeds human senses.

Shift knob & foot switch

The Shift knob's most useful feature is that it allows you to toggle between two reverb sound settings on the fly. With the right Shift footswitch engaged, you can control the Shift knob as a second Reverb control. This allows you to toggle between two presets: one with a standard Reverb control and another with the Shift control.

Jack

The Alpine has two top-mounted input and output jacks like a typical pedal, plus a TRS effects loop jack on the left side, the same as the JHS Panther Cub Analog Delay. The EFX loop allows you to insert other external effects and apply them only to the reverb signal.

EFX Loops

When connecting an external effect to the effect loop, use a TRS splitter cable (TRS-TS x 2 Y cable). For example, you can connect an octave pedal to get a shimmer effect. Inserting a delay can create a huge ambience effect, and inserting an EQ can fine-tune the shape and frequency of the reverb effect. The RING terminal on the TRS plug side of the splitter cable is the effect loop return and is connected to the output of the pedal you want to insert into the effect loop, while the TIP side is the effect loop send and is connected to the input of the pedal you want to insert into the loop. Inside the Alpine, there is a small switch for the effect loop that is labeled "SHIFT ONLY" and "ALWAYS ON". The default setting is "SHIFT ONLY". When SHIFT ONLY, the effect loop is only active when you press the Shift switch. In this case, you can switch between a basic reverb sound and a different sound that is a combination of the Shift control and the effect loop that you switch by pressing the Shift footswitch. If you turn on the effect loop with basic reverb and shifted reverb,
If you want to keep the EFX loop active all the time, set the switch to "ALWAYS ON".

Trail & Buffered Bypass

Alpine uses a high-quality buffered bypass, which normalizes the impedance of degraded signals and supplies them to the amplifier in an optimal state. In addition, the use of a buffered bypass provides a trail setting, which prevents the reverberation from cutting off when the pedal is turned off by outputting the remaining reverb reverberation as it is.

The power supply can be a standard 9V DC/100mA center negative adapter.
