The DOD Gonkulator Ring Modulator (2015) is an updated version of the infamous product sold back in the 90's. It has all of the same chiming and robotic sounds as the original, but with more flexibility, tweakability and control over the carrier signal than the original.

Having control over the carrier signal gives you the ability to go from slightly distorted modulation to heavy modulation to no modulation at all, plus it features an aggressive distortion circuit to really mess with your sound.

The Gonkulator has five independent controls: Gain, Distortion, Output, Frequency, and Ring. The vintage-style aluminum chassis is equipped with true bypass and a standard DC jack, which were not available on the original.
