Features
Carl Martin Contour & Boost is specifically designed to boost and change the sound (Contour) of your electric guitar/bass.
It features a phase-linear design and uses high-quality components, which gives it the midrange emphasis and clarity that is so important for electric guitars.
Contour & Boost are designed as high-pass (low cut) and low-pass (high cut) filters, with a fixed X-Over frequency of 440Hz. The high-pass filter operates from 65Hz to 440Hz, and the low-pass filter operates from 440Hz to 8kHz. Both filters can be swept independently, with a boost range of up to 12dB. These two filters allow you to freely change the sound (Contour).
It also has a built-in regulated power supply (+-12V), ensuring the highest quality circuit design and maximum headroom.
When using this unit in combination with other effects, be sure to place Contour & Boost after the distortion effects.
