Features

Pitch Fork can transpose the pitch of your instrument by +/- 3 octaves and can play the pitch up, down or up and down simultaneously in 3 modes. The amount of pitch shift is determined by the value selected with the Shift knob, or can be controlled in real time with an expression pedal or CV controller.

The controls are very easy to understand and intuitive to use. The 11-step shift switch allows you to select the scale to be shifted from among Detune, Minor 2nd, Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, Minor 7th, 1 Octave, 2 Octaves, and 3 Octaves.

The 3-position toggle switch sets whether the pitch plays up, down, or up and down simultaneously.
In Dual mode it outputs two pitch-shifted signals, one of which changes in much the same way as in Up mode with the Shift knob, and the other signal follows it to create harmony.

A variety of settings are possible, including Major 3rd UP + Perfect 5th UP, Perfect 5th UP + 1 Octave Down, and 1 Octave Up + 1 Octave Down.

The BLEND knob adjusts the mix between dry signal and effect, and there's an EXP jack so you can use an expression pedal to control pitch and glissando.

The Latch button switches between latched and momentary modes.

This button affects how the footswitches and EXP inputs behave.
In latch mode, the effect switches between on and bypass when the footswitch is pressed.

The EXP input allows you to change the pitch shift amount of the connected equipment, from unity to the pitch set by the shift knob.

In momentary mode, the effect is on only when the footswitch is pressed, and goes into bypass when the footswitch is released. The EXP input allows the connected equipment to control the glissando rate of the Pitch Fork footswitch. The glissando rate is the time it takes to reach the pitch set by the shift knob. When the footswitch is pressed, it goes from bypass to the set pitch, and when the footswitch is released, the pitch returns to unity at the same rate. The glissando time varies between 4msec and 2sec depending on the heel-toe position of the expression pedal. The default glissando rate is 60msec when nothing is connected to the EXP input.
